Market

The Web 3 market has had some ups and downs but good Web 3 games do very well.

Some recent examples are:

1. CryptoKitties: CryptoKitties, launched in late 2017, became one of the earliest and most successful Web 3 games. It is a blockchain-based game where users can breed, collect, and trade digital cats. It gained massive popularity and generated around $12 million in revenue within its first month of release.

2. Axie Infinity: Axie Infinity is a blockchain-based game that allows players to collect, breed, and battle digital creatures called Axies. It gained considerable attention in recent years, and due to its play-to-earn model, many players have made significant earnings. Its in-game assets have earned millions of dollars.

3. Decentraland: Decentraland is a virtual reality platform where users can create, explore, and monetize their virtual experiences in the form of interactive 3D worlds. The Decentraland project had a successful Initial Coin Offering (ICO) in 2017, raising approximately $25 million. Within this virtual world, users can buy and sell virtual land, goods, and services, creating multiple opportunities for monetization.

4. Gods Unchained: Gods Unchained is a blockchain-based card game, similar to popular digital card games like Hearthstone. The game had a successful Initial Coin Offering (ICO) in 2018, raising over $15 million. The value of certain rare cards in Gods Unchained has soared, with one card being sold for over $60,000, contributing to the game's significant earnings.

5. The Sandbox: The Sandbox is a user-generated content platform that allows players to create, buy, and sell virtual assets within its blockchain-based virtual world. It conducted a highly successful Initial DEX Offering (IDO) in 2020, raising $3 million within just five hours. Additionally, valuable virtual LAND parcels in The Sandbox have been sold for significant amounts, with some transactions reaching six-figure values.

These games represent the growing trend of utilizing blockchain technology in gaming to provide ownership, interoperability, and economic opportunities for players.

We also want to include Web 2 users and players. The platform is fun and we want young people without wallets to be able to participate. We are investing a lot of effort into making credit card purchases of native tokens possible. We seamlessly manage the coins for the buyers so they do not need a wallet. Once they have a wallet they can transfer the coins to it if they want.
